What Are Saved Guides?

Saved guides (bookmarks) let you keep track of useful guides for future reference. Think of it as your personal library of helpful resources.

Saving Guides

Save a Guide

  1. Open any guide
  2. Click the bookmark icon (usually in the top right)
  3. The guide is instantly saved
The bookmark icon will change to indicate the guide is saved.

Unsave a Guide

Click the bookmark icon again to remove the guide from your saved list.

Viewing Saved Guides

Access your saved guides at https://rtfm.guide/saved-guides

Saved Guides Page

Your saved guides page shows:
  • All guides you’ve bookmarked
  • When you saved each guide
  • Guide details (title, author, reactions)
  • Quick unsave button
  • Direct link to each guide

Sort Options (Coming Soon)

  • Recently saved: Newest bookmarks first
  • Oldest saved: Original bookmarks first
  • Most viewed: Your most visited saved guides
  • By category: Group by topic

Privacy

Your saved guides are completely private. No one else can see what you’ve bookmarked - not even guide authors.

  • Resources for current projects

Create your own learning path:
  • Save guides on a topic
  • Work through them systematically

  • Send to friends
  • Use in documentation

Limits

Currently:
  • Unlimited saves: No limit on bookmarks
  • No expiration: Saved guides persist forever
  • Auto-cleanup: Deleted guides removed from your list

Tips for Managing Saved Guides

Periodically review your saved guides:
  • Remove outdated ones
  • Re-read useful ones
  • Share with others
When you save, remember why:
  • What problem does it solve?
  • When might you need it?
  • What project is it for?
Be selective:
  • Save guides you’ll actually use
  • Unsave when no longer relevant
  • Keep your list manageable

Your dashboard shows:
  • Recently saved guides (last 5)
  • Total saved guide count
  • Quick access to saved guides page
