# Browsing & Searching Guides

> Learn how to find the perfect guide for your needs

## Browse All Guides

Visit the [Guides page](/guides) to see all published guides. Guides are displayed in reverse chronological order with the newest guides first.

Each guide card shows:

* **Title** and description
* **Author** information
* **Reactions** count
* **Published date**

## Search for Guides

### Quick Search

Use the search bar in the navigation for instant results:

1. Click the search icon or press `/` to focus the search bar
2. Type your query (minimum 3 characters)
3. See instant results as you type
4. Click a result to view the full guide

  **Pro tip**: Quick search is perfect for finding guides when you know exactly what you're looking for.

Filter guides by:

* Categories
* Tags
* Author
* Date range
* Reaction type

## Save Guides

### Bookmarking

Save guides for quick access later:

1. Open any guide
2. Click the **bookmark icon** in the top right
3. The guide is instantly saved to your account

### Access Saved Guides

View all your bookmarked guides:

* From your [Dashboard](/dashboard)
* From the [Saved Guides](/saved-guides) page
* Click the bookmark icon again to unsave

  **Saved guides** are private to you. Other users cannot see what you've saved.

## React to Guides

Show appreciation for helpful content:

| Reaction    | Meaning                | When to Use                       |
| ----------- | ---------------------- | --------------------------------- |
| 👍 Helpful  | This guide was useful  | The guide answered your question  |
| 💾 Saved Me | Saved significant time | The guide prevented hours of work |
| ⏰ Outdated  | Needs updating         | Information is no longer accurate |

### How to React

1. Open a guide
2. Find the reactions section
3. Click a reaction to toggle it
4. Click again to remove your reaction

  You must be logged in to react to guides. Each user can only add one of each reaction type per guide.

## View Guide Details

Each guide includes:

* Full content in rendered Markdown
* Author profile link
* Publication date
* Last updated date
* Reaction counts
* Comments section
